NBA Draft: Atlanta Hawks Win Lottery, Land Zion in Recent Mock

Zion is the player that every team in the draft lottery is vying for.

The Los Angeles Lakers - for the fifth time in the last six seasons - will have a representative at the 2019 NBA Draft Lottery.

Depending on their placement, picks for the Grizzlies and Mavericks could transfer to the Celtics and Hawks, respectively. It wasn't without controversy though, as many still believe that year's Draft Lottery was fixed by the league.

The Washington Wizards have a 9 percent chance in landing the top pick in the draft, the first step toward the team's recovery from a 32-50 record. The Kings have the worst odds of any team to land that No. 1 pick, so the Celtics should be safe on that front. Teams toward the bottom of the lottery also have a better shot at a Top 4 pick. With the current makeup of the team constituting a need for quality wing players, this would not be a bad outcome for New Orleans. The Wolves could also land anywhere from No. 12 to 14 in the unlikely event that two or more teams jump them. That was because the first three picks were the only ones determined by the lottery. I'm told if the Knicks get the No. 1 overall pick, they would then shift their focus towards a potential deal for Anthony Davis in Zion Williams with the No. 1 overall pick and potentially Kevin Knox. In that case, the pick would go to the Philadelphia 76ers, and Boston would get Philly's pick at No. 24.

Zion is the clear No. 1 overall player.

Comcast relinquishes full control of Hulu to Disney
Now it seems that Disney+ (and to a lesser extent ESPN+) aren't the only streaming services the House of Mouse will control. After all, a significant part of Hulu's appeal to subscribers is the variety of shows they can access on the service.

China to impose tariffs on $60 billion of USA goods
The U.S. and other trading partners say such efforts violate Beijing's free-trade commitments. President Trump is warning China not to retaliate for the newest tariff hike on its imports.

The draft lottery is at 8:30 pm on ESPN.

The good thing for the Wolves - who finished 36-46, the 10th-worst record in the league - is that this year the National Basketball Association has enacted changes it passed for the lottery in September 2017.

Either way, the Bulls' next first-round pick will join a team that needs to take the next step into the playoffs, regardless of who he is or isn't.
