India says Pakistan hiding information by blocking access to bombing site

Pakistan announced earlier this week that its high commissioner to India was returning to New Delhi, weeks after the two countries recalled their top diplomats for consultations as tensions flared after suicide attack on a convoy of Indian paramilitary soldiers in the Indian-held Kashmir that killed 40 soldiers.

On February 18, Pakistan had also called back its high commissioner appointed in India for consultations in the aftermath of the Pulwama attack.

India has been sceptical about Pakistan's latest steps to dismantle militant groups, with Indian officials calling the action cosmetic.

The global media has already dubbed the aerial combat of Feb 27 as an 'embarrassing episode' for the Indian Air Force at the hands of Pakistan Air Force which shot down two of their warplanes, killing one pilot and arresting the other, who ejected himself out of the crashing jet in Jammu and Kashmir.

Kumar said a recent United Nations statement also called for "perpetrators, organizers, financiers and sponsors of terrorism to be held accountable and brought to justice".

"Pakistan has failed to take any credible action against Jaish-e-Mohammed and other terrorist organisations, which continue to operate with impunity from Pakistan", he added.

"The widespread presence of terrorist camps in Pakistan is public knowledge within and outside Pakistan".

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs said Bisaria will be returning to Islamabad as he has completed his consultations in New Delhi.

He was later released as a unilateral goodwill gesture for peace by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

"India hasn't shared yet any actionable information and proof against anybody", he added.

Pakistani officials say this crackdown is part of a long-planned drive and not a response to Indian anger.

New Delhi's retaliatory strike in the northwest Pakistan town of Balakot last month, sent tensions spiraling.

Speaking about Thar's coal reserves, he said that the natural resources of the area would certainly change Pakistan.

He also questioned Pakistan's claim of gunning down second Indian aircraft asking why they not shown video footage of it to the worldwide media even after more than one week? The next day, Pakistan Air Force retaliated and downed a MiG-21 fighter jet of the Indian Air Force, while losing an F-16 jet of their own.
