Kyle Korver remains thankful to Cleveland after being traded to Jazz

Korver is making his second stop in Utah, having previously played for the Jazz from 2007-10.

Korver, 37, is averaging just 6.8 points in 15.7 minutes per game for the Cavaliers this season, but is shooting 46.1 percent from the field and 46.3 percent from deep.

It was announced on Wednesday, initially by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowksi, that the Utah Jazz traded Alec Burks and a pair of second round picks to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for former Jazzman Kyle Korver. They presently have a 10-12 record, the third-worst mark in the conference, but they're within two games of the team now in the seventh spot, the Los Angeles Lakers. He's been on the trading block for most of the season and had drawn interest from several teams.

Burks, meanwhile, leaves the only franchise he has ever known. What the Utah Jazz agreed to Wednesday afternoon wasn't a "panic trade", per se, but it certainly comes from a place of high discomfort.

This season, he had appeared in 17 games for the Jazz - all off the bench - and averaged 8.4 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists.

Her campaign later said the comment was a joke and the video had been "selectively altered", the Washington Post reported . She isn't optimistic about Espy's chances, but she's voting for him. "In fact, I was so not guilty, I was innocent".

"I mean we're not a bad 3-point shooting team, I think guys are just missing shots", Jazz forward Derrick Favors said.

"I was shocked when he told me", said Jazz rookie Grayson Allen. "It's just the timing of it but that's how it goes".

"From what I know of his game, he's great moving without the ball so there's a lot I can watch of him and it'll be cool to see that up close", Allen said.

Burks is on a $11.53 million expiring contract, which could have value before the trade deadline. He will make $7.56 million this year and has $7.5 million on his deal for next year, although less than half of it is guaranteed.
