White House slams Omarosa over her book

In her forthcoming book, "Unhinged," former White House staffer Omarosa Manigault Newman claims that she saw President Trump chewing up a piece of paper after a meeting with his then-personal lawyer, Michael Cohen.

White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders told reporters here in New Jersey, where Trump is on vacation, that the book is "riddled with lies and false accusations". "A$3 nd even worse that the media would not give her a platform, after not taking her seriously when she had only positive things to say about the President during her time in the administration".

The controversy created by Manigault Newman's tell-all, which comes out next week, will not be the first time the White House has been forced to contend with sensational claims in a book.

According to Omarosa, Trump referred to George Conway, who is half Filipino, as a "Flip" and a "Goo-goo".

"The allegation is not credible, and indeed is ridiculous", wrote Conway, a frequent Trump critic despite his marriage to one of Trump's most consistent supporters, "particularly in light of the timing of her departure from the White House - December 12, 2017". Using the N-word wasn't just the way he talks but, more disturbing, it was how he thought of me and African-Americans as a whole'.

She acknowledges she had never been able to obtain or hear the tapes but said three unnamed sources had described their contents.

Another claim that was made in Omarosa's book is that she was offered a job and a $15,000 a month hush money payment to keep quiet about her time in the White House.

Earlier today, pollster Frank Luntz called out Manigault for her flat out false claim she made about him also in the pages of her new book.

But she refused, according to the incendiary new book, "Unhinged: An Insider Account of the Trump White House", which also depicts Trump as unqualified, narcissistic and racist. "Would you look at this George Conway article?" she quotes the president as saying. F**ing F**P! Disloyal! Fucking G**-g**'.

Flip and goo-goo are epithets for Filipinos. She writes that over time, she came to the realization that Trump was a racist, something the rest of us already knew.

Manigault-Newman developed a relationship with Trump during the taping of The Apprentice, where she was a contestant known for her back-stabbing ways.
