Not keen on finishing her swim early, a Sydney women chose to throw the pesky shark out of the pool. He was only about a meter long.

"Everyone was saying, 'What do we do?' Mum even rang triple zero and the police came".

'I thought, you know what - if i can just herd him into the shallows I think I can pick him up. So I said, 'I think I can just grab him'.

She added: "He wasn't that heavy but his skin was very rough, like sandpaper". "I just threw him over the edge of the pool into the water and watched him swim away", she explained, News.com.au reported.

Hatheier said the shark was "stressed" because it was trapped between the rocks, separated from the ocean and his natural habitat. "With his fins, I picked him up and helped him back", she said.
